Summer Camp
Autism Resources
In 2000, CBC received a grant from the Giving Back Fund on behalf of the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism and was able to provide a special program for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Between 40 and 50 campers with Autism traits have benefitted from the summer camping experience every year since the beginning of the program.
The Cradle Beach Autism program has three primary goals:
- To provide children with Autism Spectrum Disorder a positive and safe summer camp experience for 10 days
- To provide support to the CBC staff for meeting the campers' individual needs
- To communicate with parents before camp and when the children are at camp
