We cover housing, food, Wifi, and more while you are at camp.
- Cabins have electricity and running water.
- Counselors share a room with 1 to 3 other people.
- Bathrooms are located in each building (No shower houses).
- 3 meals and snacks are provided throughout your stay including on time off.
- Full salad bar twice a day.
- Vegetarian and vegan options available.
- Gluten free and dairy free options available as well.
- Staff snack every evening once the campers are in bed.
- The staff lounge area is a no camper area to allow staff an area to recharge.
- Staff have access to a fridge, Keurig, and snacks in the lounge.
- The staff lounge is air conditioned and has couches and a tv.
- Working at an inclusive summer camp is a great way to build your resume! Many college programs and careers recognize the value of skills obtained by working with children at an overnight summer camp all season.
- You will meet some amazing people! It is a great way to make new friends, network with peers, and interact with people from around the world.
- Your position at Summer Camp can open doors for new internships and career development.
- Summer camp is a hands on learning experience in nature. You are building leadership skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills and so much more – all while enjoying all the beauty Mother Nature has to offer.
- Summer camp is going to grow your self-confidence! You will do things outside your comfort zone and be better for it.
- Transportation is provided on Sunday and Friday for staff living in Buffalo. Additional locations can be added with need.
- Transportation can be arranged to the store or local areas with notice.
- American Red Cross
- CPR & First Aid Certification ($117)-offered to all staff
- Lifeguard Certification ($200+)-offered to counselors who are interested
- Youth Mental Health First Aid Training ($30+)-offered to all staff
- In addition, hands on training in how to care for individuals with and without disabilities.
- Darkness to Light Training- $25 (training in the education and prevention of child abuse, other forms of abuse, and reporting)
